A short biography
I’m a baby boomer with a semi warped mind. I spent my “working” years, 40 some odd at this point, as a computer geek; my various places of employment had different titles for what I do, but I prefer to call my profession what it is, computer geek.
I was born in a suburb of St. Louis Missouri, USA, planet Earth in the late 1950’s… childhood, grade & high school, brief stints in various forms of higher education ensued and then employment.
The early eighties drove me from St. Louis, did a brief stint in NY before moving on to Washington DC.
I spent about 10 years in Washington DC, and once again was struck by the need to move, wanderlust perhaps(?), so like the song says, sold the house, sold the car, packed my bags, left the USA, and spent about 20 years in Australia, Kuwait, the UAE.
This site is basically where I plan to post rants, raves and some of the results of my newest hobbies, a camera, a telescope and recordings of what else “white noise”.
There are lots of gaps in the biography will get filled in as I figure out what I’m doing; more later…
